What would you do with an extra $100?

October 3, 2010 at 8:03 PM 2 comments

Would you buy yourself something special? Maybe a new outfit, or some new shoes? Perhaps a new purse? Would you pay down a bill? Would you purchase stocks, bonds, or a CD? Which ones?

Maybe you prefer to spoil others and would use the money to buy someone special a gift? What about a practical sewing machine? A great sewing curriculum? ((wink, wink))

Would you use it for a “RAK” (Random Act of Kindness)? Perhaps you’d pay a neighbor or friend’s water or electric bill once?

Would you donate it to the church? A charity?

I don’t know about you, but I’d probably hide it away for an emergency. I’d be afraid to invest it that I’d choose the wrong investment and end up losing it altogether. I wouldn’t want to spend it either b/c what if I need it at a future time more than I need it now?

What would you do?

I would spend it on something that would give me knowledge for the future such as a class or curriculum. Once used for that purpose, that knowledge can’t be taken away, can be passed on to my children and can always be used for yourself or to bless others. I’ve been working on acquiring this kind of knowledge for a few years now. Knitting, sewing, canning, gardening and much more! I love learning new things and also building on what I’m currently learning.

    Fun question…thanks!
